George Benson - Photographer
This is from a project called The Colour of Music, a set of photographs using the edges of vinyl records to create uniquely-textured colour compositions.
I’ve known George for over 20 years now, and I’m consistently impressed with his work. Although his subjects are often based around formal ideas and structures, his work always has an approachable, casual aesthetic.
Many of the designs shown on his site are available for purchase, and I know for a fact that more involved prints (for instance, prints on canvas) might be obtained by contacting him directly.
