Fantastic article. If you’ve ever felt that iOS software costs too much at under $10 (with free updates for life, no less) then read this and understand.
Having said that though, I think that perhaps the misconception is simply that writing software is ‘easy’ somehow, and is always something done in peoples’ spare time, so they don’t need any real income from it. I’d be interested in any ideas people have on how to combat that idea.
